Heaton, Maguire, Lindelof, Evans, Eriksen and Amad have all entered the final year of their contracts at United, although the club can extend Maguire and Amad’s deals for another 12 months.

Fernandes has been United’s standout performer in recent years and he is now under contract until June 2027 after the club captain signed a new deal at Old Trafford in August 2024.

“Everybody knows the passion I have for Manchester United,” he said. “I understand the responsibility and significance of wearing this shirt, and the levels of dedication and desire required to represent this incredible club.

“I have had so many special moments here already; hearing my name sung from the Stretford End, scoring a hat-trick against Leeds, leading the team out at Old Trafford on European nights and lifting trophies at Wembley. But I wouldn’t have signed this contract if I didn’t believe that my best moments in a United shirt are still to come.

“From my discussions with the football leadership and manager, it is clear how determined everyone is to fight for major trophies in the years ahead. I can see how positive the future is going to be and I am relishing leading this team forward.”

Kees Vos, co-founder of the SEG agency, was reportedly one of 35 agents vying for Hojlund’s signature in the summer of 2023 and made six pitches before gaining the player as a client.

“It was the lengthiest application process among football agents ever,” Vos said. “I had never experienced it like this before. We painted a realistic picture. That is not always the nicest message to give, but we always felt they would choose us.

“If they hadn’t, a lot of costs would have been incurred. That’s how it works. Sometimes earnings are big, other times only costs remain.”

De Ligt and Mazraoui both joined United from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024 and they share the same agent – Rafaela Pimenta.

Yoro and Ugarte also arrived at Old Trafford in the summer transfer window and they are both represented by Gestifute, which was founded by renowned agent Jorge Mendes.

Shaw, Mainoo and Gore are all represented by CAA Stellar, whose other clients include Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga, Manchester City’s Jack Grealish and Al-Ahli’s Ivan Toney.

Amad has just signed with Garnacho’s agent while Malacia is represented by Darren Dein, who is the son of former Arsenal chief executive David Dein.
